Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Marketplace is operated by SynthaSkill LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using Marketplace ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Marketplace is a platform connecting FAA-certificated A&P mechanics with aircraft owners and aviation operators who need maintenance work performed. We facilitate introductions, bids, work orders, and payments — we are not a party to any maintenance contract formed between a mechanic and a customer, and we do not employ mechanics listed on the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. Better Auth session tokens expire 7 days after issue; you may revoke them via the Settings page at any time.
4. Subscription, Trial, and Fees
New accounts receive a 14-day free Pro trial. After the trial, continued access to Pro features requires an active paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice; existing paid subscribers will not see a price change mid-billing-cycle.
5. Bid and Offer Integrity
All bids and offers submitted through the Marketplace must be accurate and made in good faith. Mechanics must hold a valid FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certificate appropriate to the work offered. You must not submit bids you do not intend to honor, inflate bid prices artificially, or misrepresent the scope or cost of work. Work orders accepted through the platform form a binding agreement between the mechanic and the customer.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a mechanic and a customer, both parties agree to first attempt resolution by contacting us at [email protected]. We will review documented evidence submitted by both parties and may at our discretion mediate a resolution. Our decisions are advisory and not binding; we are not liable for the outcome of any dispute between platform users.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not misrepresent your FAA certificate holdings or ratings.
- Do not submit false reviews, ratings, or dispute claims.
- Do not reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
- Do not exceed plan limits via multiple accounts.
8. Your Data
You own your data. You can export your profile, work orders, and transaction history at any time from the Settings page. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how long we retain it.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Your records enter a 30-day grace period before hard deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms with notice where practicable.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or error-free operation. We do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of work performed by mechanics listed on the platform. Aircraft owners remain responsible for ensuring maintenance is performed by appropriately certificated personnel.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) $100 USD or (b) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms; if we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
14. Contact
